Classic Arcade Games

Many years ago the only thing kids had to play as far as video games was arcade games. This was way before there was ever even a thought in anyone's mind that a computer was going to be in nearly every person's house.

These bulky machines consisted of some sticks and buttons and you would have to put money in it in order for it to work. The arcade games today are not nearly as bulky as then, and there was not as much choices of games. The classic arcade games of all time are Donkey Kong, Pac Man, and Space Invaders. There are probably a few that I am forgetting but these were my favorites, and I still love them to this day, these are games from the late seventies and early eighties. You can't find them any more. The do have it on various game systems for your house, but most of the kids today don't want anything to do with them. They have much more advanced games with much better graphics to play. I am still amazed at some of the graphics that these games have. One of the role playing games actually got me nausea's from all of the turning that you were able to do. Classic arcade games never made me sick, they are basic and simple just the way I like it. These games are not meant for them, they don't have any appreciation for them what so ever, they are meant for the adults of the early eighties that spent many hours trying to beat each game.

One of my most favorite classic arcade games is Donkey Kong. I remember spending countless hours in front of this game, my father had to literally drag me away from it kicking and screaming. What kid would want to leave from playing arcade games to go home and get ready for bed, not me. My second favorite classic arcade game, and it's still my favorite to this day is Pac Man. I actually have this game for one of my game systems, Playstation. The battles you can have with your friends are great, who ever can get the furthest pays for dinner. We use to play this when we were younger but it was usually for a piece of gum, but we do grow up in some ways, not all.

Classic arcade games will always be around in one form or another I can guarantee you that it doesn't matter how advanced technology gets there is always going to be a group of people that want to play the games that they played when they were younger. What games are classic arcade games will be the only thing that actually changes.
