Video Arcade Games

Video arcade games were a big part of my childhood, actually they were a huge part of my childhood. Back then your parents were much more likely to allow you to walk down the arcade with your friends. Times were different then, you didn't have to worry that someone was going to kidnap your kid walking down the road like you do today. So we were able to spend nearly every single day down at the arcade and waste every bit of money that we were able to scrub off of our parents. I will never forget the competitions that we would had. It was the worst when you were last, you would get picked on for weeks for it. But it was all in fun, and boy did we have fun.

It's funny how much things have change, but some just stay the same. Kids are still trying to spend their last dollar, or rather your last dollar, for video games. The only thing that changed with that is the graphics. Video arcade games today are absolutely amazing. They are so realistic. I am still amazed by the new video arcade games that come out.

But to me they still don't compare to the video arcade games that I played back in the 80's - space invaders, the Mario brothers, Pac Man, Tetris, Donkey Kong, and the many others. These definitely are the best games of all time. Don't get me wrong here the games today have such amazing graphics, and I do play them. I guess because the first games those classic video arcade games are the ones that I grew up playing. It doesn't matter why, video arcade games today and back in the 80's are just plain fun to play. I love watching the kid's today race to the arcade games just as I did when I was their age. Hell I am still rushing off to play some myself.

Times change, technology grows and we still stay the same by searching for our favorite video arcade games, or video games for one of the plenty video systems. Well I guess not everything changes, huh. I know that I constantly am being amazed by the games that continue to come out year after year. The graphics are stunning and so very realistic. I actually get nauseas from some of the role playing games that they have out. As much as it sticks feeling nauseas it's still pretty cool that a game can do that.
